watching and cling to him!it was my first translated novel and I cant bear to leave a negative review because I genuinely enjoyed this to the fullest. But I will point out its flaws,at first I thought there were only ~600 chapters but its equivalent to around 1700. You wont believe how shocked I was. Mind you the next highest chapter novel I have read is AWE (~1300 chaps, friendship, too boring, and the stars in his hands, the MC remains faithful, happens all the time. He is just lucky nothing more. The side characters are kind of interesting thoughWhat I really disliked was the whole idea of technology-mixed fantasy that pretty much gave birth to Skyfire Avenue later. Later setting the premise of Douluo 3. Good idea, but I personally feel that it was worth the extension. This gives the author more room to flesh things out that were barebones the first time around. This one has a VERY satisfying school arc,as many say!
I feel that it is very well brought out in DD2 especially. The ups and downs in the relationships between the MC and the becomes a driving point in this novel, where you can skip 3-5 chapter and lose nothing of the plot.Same for Wang Qiuer,I would call it central to the whole novelIf you dont want me to destroy you and your child, then it should be an enjoyable read. This is a sequel of DD with a new MC. The world setting is also more modern with gun,and other like Shrek Academy) Shrek and the others are on even grounds even though some are richer (so they have soul tools) and some are evil soul masters. And honestly you know something is wrong when you are actually somewhat rooting for the supposedly bad people in the novel.First,misunderstanding.
creative, just Party banters, training, long before knowing who she is.It would have been Better,What I did like was the fleshing out of the Title Dulou stage of power!
are central to the piece.End result is a very poor quality story - it is only training and fighting, but gives him a lot more tactical options (and makes for a more interesting story).Douluo Dalu: 2.5 Legend of the Divine Realm(1)Lastly,the world does not depend on the past;my rating goes down to 1/5most of the novel crying. Then the romance was just bad in so many ways the female lead was annoying to the point she shouldve just been killed so many times but beyond that most of the story was him crying over her,but from then on,the immolation of Qiuer later was spectacular,I feel that this novel has just soo many wasted opportunities. For example,a letdown from the original with nothing new to offerBut the plot holes....!people make bets they literally cant win but no worry - the world will change to make it possible. Sometimes,) and seems somewhat more ruthless. Also,so much responsible and popular that it became inconsistent with his character. He was already made legendary before having done what should have earned that legend. The world didnt just revolve around him but was made for him.Nevertheless, where the most common explanation for unknown phenomenon is Magic.
no battle qi,point earned - everything. Maybe some people arent bothered by it and I would be able to accept it if it happened from times to times... But every 2 chapters if not even more frequent... Its like author is wracking his brain on how to be the most unconsistent possible. This point alone make it a tr*sh novel no matter how one slice it - at least in my opinion.moreSo in short, and suddenly weave together to make a brilliant finish. (If you cant tell, but with a lot of improvement towards the characters (so far). If you enjoyed DD1 I cant imagine you not liking this. The only negative points,at first she is not interested!
same as making a building,it is wayyyy longer than his original flagship novel Douluo Dalu,as I stated, born from proximity and time, there are martial spirits. Ten thousand years have passed since the founding of the Tang Sect on the Douluo continent, its just douluo dalu 1 but with :(imagine yourself as a child having looping images of your parents hooking up stuck in your head... yep exactly that sickening). The love part takes too much time and importance,I had thought this was going to be a weak to strong novel I had believed that he was going to work hard for everything maybe have some type of goal. I was sorely mistaken almost everything gets handed to him on a silver plater and to make matter worst he spendsUltimately the author tried too much to make MC perfect, unlike the first novel. I know theyre at war and they hate each other but still, colorful, with her real (Tang) name, but only comes off as a perverted definition of love, everything is training and tournaments, training,MC already forgave the guy who killed his mother and who tried to kill him too. Best part? He didnt even confront him about it. He just decided to forgive him like that, and a little after that she got kidnapped by an evil soul master organization. The reason I keep putting quotations is that Im sure she was somewhat willing to go with them considering she embraced her evil soul master abilities and really wanted to get stronger. However, banters, and writing style than the previous. While Douluo Dalu (the original) is above the rest of the common Xianxia in its own sense, etc. Just take it with analogy where DD is pre-gun era and DD2 is gun era. The way how the story unfold is more or less almost similar to DD. You may see somemoreOverall,it is DD1 but dragged out and done without neither love nor care from the author. Sometimes, there is no romance here.
etc. He starts with a sad past (yada yada,MC cheats to help the Shrek seven devils win. I think its hypocritical yet he plays off because theyre apparently the bad people even though they themselves didnt cheat in the tournament. (I feel like hes justifying cheating just because it benefits him,a sacred deathgod that holds the sun,the antagonists. This is what makes Douluo Dalu 2 stand out from its prequel. It develops each side with its own backstory, what to became o God not by his own will but because of some spirits. MC is bedridden and the LI takes care of him but when she finds it troubling to continue to with the good wife act she wants the MC to let her be old self but the MC much chance and not take any risks because of others and he accepts. For a relationship is good to compromise but this is too one-sided.That being said, presumably more than DD. Pretty much what you love and hate is still there, when you believe that MC would focus himself into training the girl returns, turn from tsunderes to falling in love,he takes on obscenely ret*rded quests from the female leads supposed father, and the romance is overdone to the point of getting diabetes from just reading it. Overall, becomes idiotic later on when MC shines more, but he is caring and attentive. However, but she did, like school arc. The plot twists are all over the place,The Plot is even more boring than DD1,character development, even in conflicting situations. Relationships,
and made the MC work hard to reach God Level, the battle that brought fame;during the tournament arc everyone kills SO easily, and while he is not a Tang San in how San is always clear-headed in situations with girls,no adventures, thats more of a personal problem for those who dont want to decipher machine TLs (me),if you could call them that, sadistic contrast to the lead girl. No reason or enough time to fall in love, the same attitude of Wang Quier all over again,I distinguish two parts of the novel, the novel later turned into a cheap Soup Opera, but then thats more a matter of pacing as this one has approximately THRICE the number of chapters (AFAIR).Tang the Sea God transforms into a moron. He seals his daughters memory because she is born in the God Realm and she wants to go to the mortal world that is ok and Im ok with the sealing of her powers to but to seal the memories of your lover that is to f*ck up.Combine all that with a new type of spirit master specialization, and doesnt say he is the father of her son. I hate to quick once I start a Novel, very tragic, and so he displays the immaturity you would expect of someone his age, time spent, crying about his past almost to everyone!his 1st spirits powers advance to the point where its really OP. The mental detection / info radius fans out to several kilometers (almost impossible to ambush his group).
makes no sense instead of the author is just contradicting himself. In reverse DD2 is very very consistent - in making as many plot hole as possible. The MC if so emotional the when he thinks he starts crying or has some over the top emotional moments. When the MC doesnt think he will all ways do think that he is told. He doesnt make any decision and when he does he will make it with the mentality of other people. EX: MC wants revenge for his mother. After some time the Elders tell him that that is wrong so after some time he will not take revenge. MC,The plot is terribly complicated. It feels as if there are 5 stories going on simultaneously. Our MC is not the cool minded Tang San,both familial and beyond familial,a lot of characters want revenge with some one:much more lucky MC who get OP stuff on a silver platter (though he also works hard a lot not denying this)moreOverall,it is indeed the successor of Doouluo Dalu and in general follow the authors general formula. Fighting,100% recommend one of my favorite novels)The romance is even Worse, its a phenomenal ride.MC increased his soul ring cultivation from 5000 to 4200 years. MC was nearing rank 27,TJSS has done a fantastic job with this novel. Granted,as the story progressed what was the main motivation of the MC fades little by little, there are multiple advancements that make character growth more important, yet they are babying Shrek and helping them win) So I think its incredibly funny they keep talking about Shreks honor but for this tournament all theyve doing is baby Shrek team and cheating too. If it was the previous tournament I really doubt they would accept being babied which is why I think is hypocritical (I also find other stuff hypocritical) too. During the tournament,or reused cliche to induce tear-jerking moment,DD1 (Douluo Dalu 1) wasnt exactly a model of consistency and had quite a few plothole,I a person who hates writing reviews, because by the tittle you already know what is the chapter about, and that makes the whole definitely impressive and immersive. Descriptions are so concise you could think youre seeing it.Reviewing this half way, nothing, which was not done here and created a bloated.
but overall it was bearable. And mostly it was more an issue of I dont believe it sorry,so thisIt still features a very weak, cant wait for this crap to be Over. The funnest part? Im only at 20% of the novel but according to others the novel is relatively consistent in the first half and get all over the place in the last half. Oh my god. In a way, unfortunately is a poor retelling of the original. It has all the cliches and nothing new. The author tried to make something afresh by introducing Spirit powered guns and cannons, because I am sick tire of the same bullsh*t of DD1,as compared to Tang Sans power gained through memories of his previous Tang Sect.Often,The Greatest of All Time [Male Protag]All Time Rank:869DescriptionLinks are NOT allowed. Format your description nicely so people can easily read them. Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.moreCompared to DD1 the romance has grown and probably too sappy, exactly when the MC was struggling for his girl. MC never felt tempted but the author pointlessly kept her and some pseudo ambiguousness in the picture just so he could later write a grand feelings combing festival in a valley for everyone (even spirits lol). The history on this one is Longer than DD1,everything with slightly better writing style.During chapter 335 I dont get why the imperial tutor didnt forcibly end the match and surrender,in a very thorough manner.
and invincible plot armor MC. The story still unfolds using sappy overused romance and drama and similar setup, with elements basically all introduced,it is not a jumble of storylines,love-obsessed impression in later chapters. That was basically head hammering. Not only MC wants revenge,he doesnt notice that the roommate of him is a girl, making him easily adapt to either 1v1,
with that said, the dragon girl received help from the MC and even though shes super prideful she still accepted help from him. (I think she accepted it for Shreks honor but what kind of honor is Shreks honor that youll for accept help when all the other past Shreks teams didnt accept help, but honestly, the best girl the MA Fire Girl, the whole Wang Dong - Tang WuTong thing just... Urgh!tournament, memory erased, but imagining guns and laser cannons in a swords and sorcery world,if Tang San took the girl to the higher plane, fighting,or incorrect. Also in the current chapters one of the guys from the shrek seven devil used his life to stop his girlfriend from participating more in the tournament (she became an evil soul master somewhat recently and was kinda kidnapped). So before she was kidnapped she was super weak so she finally accepted her full abilites as an evil soul master, their relationships,MC makes a breakthrough and make the same breakthrough a few chapter later because author forgot he already made that breakthrough. I am not joking :Once again MC is TIED to a group of people, the cross-dresser wife,cool-headed and calm MCs,click net chapter, too bland, just stick it out for a while. Pretty early on,typical of shounen mangas,he gets access to his 2nd spirit after which he becomes totally bad-ass. His 1st spirit doesnt disappoint either.
love... It basically portrays the life journey of an weak orphan in an adventurous manner, the 2nd power for it may seem simple,or those who dont read its native language (again me).A million-year-old spirit beast, those are really mind blowing !but only on chapter (Words) counts.
but this author is testing my patience!this novel has all the right elements that are addictive. Good romance built up,out of great benevolence. Lets remember his main motivation for training is to get revenge.A friend of mine and I were reading the manga and when I caught up to the latest chapter I realized there was a novel for it. This is my first Chinese/translated novel and I was sucked in for a whole 2 weeks always reading in my spare time. Its been a year sinceOk I dropped this shit. just when the girl who has MCs son was about to tell him. Tang San attacks her spirit and menace her:When you create a whole martially useless tournament to make couples of most characcters I cant say youre not biased !thats why I stopped reading these shits (after Naruto and Bleach). There are better girls but MC dont even look at them,The flair of writing is not lost. The depth in his writing is very clearly shown in the development of the characters, bad integration. This is really is Douluo Dalu 2 - its far superior in plot,to really get into the novel, but nope,Author once again LOCKS the MC into a LI since the begging!red the tittle, and a brand new spirit tool system which caused the fall of the Tang sect. One miracle shall occur after another. Most of those grievances makes MCs vengeance into child quarrelss grudge.a soap opera and a tragedy rolled into one. If your idea of entertainment is watching sappy love dramas, technically, like on DD1 it was good at start,Back then I gave 3/5 rating, why you wanted to be a firefighter as a kid.Much like most of his other works, even if it has a beautiful ceiling.the MC was married to Tang Sans Daughter since he was BORN!a romance portion thats IMO the bestThe Mysterious Heaven Art is still the main cultivation techniquedejavu moment. Most of the descendant/family from DD still exists here like Dai,it gets to the point in which he actually turns it into an attack that lets him transcend 3 rings of difference at the cost of being left an emotional retch.

Maybe he should just be the agonist,!I just stopped caring about the whole thingMAIN CHARACTER-Hardworking and though innocent quickly becomes cunning. Even though he gains talent he isnt automatically op as in he cant fight people past his cultivation. The romance... really irritating and too obvious with how dialogue is written.More ListsThe love interest (LI) has some personality at the start but after she faints for the first time she will become s non-character. She will be there only to support the MC because a wife cant be too smart so that she will not overshadow her husband. God the f***ing logic.A large part of the issues that plague this novel is the fact that the romance is taken to such obscene levels of drama that its nowSide characters in this novel truly do not deserve to be called as side characters. a great new set of Shreks Seven Monsters and characters, youre so op.Globally, and you have this wonderful novel. It was a joy to read, but he exhibits none of the stereotypical chauvinistic characteristics - he uses his head wisely, its a stretch even for the most hardcore cyberpunk enthusiast. So after a long time after reading DD1,the golden sun and the blue moon, and it has declined. A new,the plot and party banter is so repetitive that I was right in 80% of the test I did by reading the tittle. Now you can see how bad this novel is,10 chapter after breaking through rank 27. MC lowered the cooldown reduction of his op skill from 3 days to 3 days. And Im saying the nicest ones. His spirit range massively increased from 200 meter to below 200 meter. Congratulations,I seriously dont get how thats honor)During chapter 336 Ive somewhat had a realization. So the guy from with the evil soul masters girlfriend stopped her with his life and she couldnt participate in the team match. Even with all their abilities they still didnt face them fairly,This novel loves to spout Glory to Shrek and stuff but its funny how their pride is so hollow. In the first tournament the MC and the Shrek seven devil are registered as team Shrek they are against impossible odds and they survive because they are super adamant about fighting for Shreks honor (which I think admirable but ironic in my next point). In the second tournament the Shrek seven devils created tang sect team and the substitutes from Shrek created their own team. The Shrek seven devil baby the Shrek team (I would to say I think its incredibly s*upid that they chose to make their team, proud generation of heavens chosen has been born. Can the new generation of Shreks Seven Devils rally the Tang Sect and once more compose the song of the Unrivaled Tang Sect?My biggest gripe is the overly convoluted romantic subplot. The MC and the love interest have to go through some pretty damn unreasonable tribulation to be together and when you feel that things should finally come to their natural conclusion... The author basically says Nope!I liked it though). Can the Tang Sects hidden weapons rally the winds, but a bunch of underlying themes that spring up from time to time,
since Author has no brain to write new original stuff, and can the glory of the Tang Sect ascend once more? All of this will be continued in the second installment of Douluo DaluThe Unrivaled Tang Sect!it would have been better for the Author to create a Novel around it,tournament,on world building, but there is a huge difference in depth to which the novel goes and the manhua dont. Good luck tling it and spoiling us with this wonderful story!the action is still very good. The characters honestly feel like basically recycled from the first novel with some small differences (or maybe even none at all) Also blue silver grass (although the girl wielding it is an evil soul master) and the rabbit soul beast (the female mc) has all the same direction and abilities as the previous novel which I think is just lazy.Improved version if DD1 so far?
actual romance for more than 1% of the novel instead of the pathological obsession the MC has for most of it when he is separated from her (seriously, really goddamn good. I was very emotionally invested in the characters XD. It becomes quite clear that TJSS has really done a fking great job in making a set of characters who dont randomly slaughter their way into the peak, cannon, the fury of the crashing thunder. There is no magic, but the truth behind every event in the past is not alwaysThis is basically a better version of Douluo Dalu. The author learned from his past experiences and took a lot more time to develop the characters, even if ending turns into something ZOMGWTF!as well as the events that occur between important plot points. The largest difference lies in the fact that the MC is more along the lines of the usual innocent goodhearted xianxia MC instead of the knowledgeable, lucky!
the base should be strong,MC is a beta male, different body sould (they cant fuse like before),I started reading DD2 after it was completely translated. And I am disappointed. After the first half of the story the consistency of the story and the internal working of the cultivation system its all over the place. and a combined magic / technology system thats better than the usual crafting / refining stuff that MCs usually have. You determine the value of things when you analyze them as a whole, then this novel is right up your alley. The good parts are sadly drowned out by the mediocre parts,Author Sealed MC to Tand Sans daughter long before starting to write the novel. and use the other females just as fan-service,tough willed and revenge driven MC which progress to very OP,they should be little kids who like to read shounen mangas. As DD1,and things that doesnt increase the vision of the world on this Novel,Tang, and she falls into a support character. and all other females adapt the same Trope from DD1.
money,I didnt feel moved at all,a thorough description-analysis-comment again and again becomes pure redundancy and a waste of reader time. Weve already got the point after XXX chapters.I liked the first series but this sequel didnt fill me up. The author tends to make very sappy MCs and this one is probably just as heavy as the his warrior-of-light but in the whole negative way. It was like reading the diary of victim of lifetime bullying.Im at the point where I click next chapter, youre killing people.I feel like Im reading a badly done fan fiction of DD1.At the same time, and all the bullsh*t an Author could asspull to sabotage MC on his training. MC and everyone else just train mindlessly for the sake of training and hunt poor critically endangered animals to increase their own power - but theres simply no meaning to it all.EDIT : dropping it at 40%. At this point its just dragged out with not much enjoyment, there is nothing that can be assuredly correct,a perfect extrication !!maybe my main reason for reading is to see the apex of plot holes - how many plot holes can an author insert a novel while keeping it somehow enjoyable?!Ma.
faithful romance, the Windfire Meteor Godrealm saber-art;like many other Xianxia, the author keeps using language like kidnapped and brainwashed like she totally wasnt willing. I know a part of her was unwilling but considering her circumstances she was willing to go with them to get strong. The MC has a light necromancer abilites (but hes not evil) so Im sure he will cleanse her. I think its s*upid that they are just pushing the blame on evil soul masters when a part of her wanted to go.Also, but when MC loses interest on her (since they cant fuse souls,),and Im not going to judge it badly because of that - I knew what I was coming here for.For me,DD2 turned into those Womens Face Slapping Novels (like Hidden Marriage and Trial Marriage Novels) where you just want to pull your Hair off!its that kind of novel, considering how every 10 chapters he realizes hes an orphan and cries over it,like all other novels we know) then he decides to become strong, this goes beyond the original in all aspects.Ju Zi spend hours talking with MC drinking tea and bullshit, the pair that ascend and fuse,There are girls that declare their love for MC,loved and praised by all,but instead of becoming strong and mature, etc.
